The NH20DC Water Leak Detection Cable Sensor detects the presence of water, leaks, flooding and condensation, commonly caused by faulty or badly commissioned air-conditioning equipment at different IT and facility domain points. The rope-type sensor monitors large areas for presence of water and sends alerts before substantial damage is done to electronics or surrounding materials. The rope-type sensor connects directly to gateways via a supplied standard network patch cable and transmits real-time environmental information through the gateway platforms. The rope-type sensor is designed for indoor mounting only, below a rack or cabinets in a data centre or around the perimeter of a room. It is suitable for detecting water at a single point such as drip pans, floor drains or where water tends to converge in confined locations within a data centre or facility.
