The much anticipated “My World of Tomorrow” Conference took place at Sandton Convention Centre this month and Netshield was not going to miss out on the opportunity to get a sneak peek at the latest innovations in the tech world. The expo showcased some exciting new developments which are paving the way to the world of the future. Samsung unveiled a bus which houses a dental clinic, doctors room and nursing station. Telkom showed off their “superfast” fibre-optic internet and Imajinn wowed motoring fans with their extremely realistic F1 Simulator. Other stands showed off digital graffiti, the best in e-learning, enterprise software and affordable tech for rural areas. The expo also paid a great tribute to former BCX CEO, Leetile Benjamin Mophatlane who played a large role in the development of the ICT industry in South Africa, and portrayed a great timeline of the future of ICT in South Africa and Africa as a whole. Netshield plans to form an important part of this future, and we hope to display innovations such as our Solar Trailer at the next expo.
